Of course we clean them!

Whenever a guest asks if we clean the masks and snorkels between charters, and I say "Yes, of course we clean them!" I feel like nobody ever believes me. Especially when they then go straight to the sink and wash out their mask and snorkel!
Well, here is proof that we clean and sanitize the snorkels and masks after every charter. Also, we let them enjoy a pretty sunset while they soak.
We are off charter for at least a week.  Not a true vacation, as we have to run a hundred errands and fix a dozen things around the boat. If we get all that done and have time to spare, will get at least a day or two to relax.... YAY!

Mama said there'd be days like this

Well, the weather continued to be favorable given our location and this morning Tara went up the forestay to clean the sail and also replace one of the set screws that I noticed was missing yesterday.

You can see the difference that Tara makes as she works her way down the sail.

The winds continued to be light all day, providing clear and calm conditions in the Sir Francis Drake Channel.

Clean Boat is a Happy Boat

We scrubbed every inch of floor.

Look at that shine!!

Of course this is in addition to all the cleaning that normally goes on before every charter: wiping down the walls and every surface, deep-cleaning all the heads, washing the outside of the boat, doing all the laundry and making all the beds; as well as stocking the boat with beer, wine, booze, soda, and of course food! Not to mention the regular maintenance, oil changes, filter cleaning, rig tuning, as well as all sorts of repairs, and the various improvements that we are always up to.
